After gaining a degree in Law and History of Art at Cambridge University, Charlotte Simm qualified as a solicitor in 1993, having trained with Allen & Overy. After working at Rooks Rider and becoming a partner in 2000, she joined May, May & Merrimans as a partner in 2009 before they joined forces with Hunters in 2015.
Charlotte has over 25 years post-qualification experience, specialising in the field of estate, tax and succession planning for individuals and families. She has substantial experience of advising in relation to wills, trusts, powers of attorney, probate and estate administration, including complex areas of expertise. She is a member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and has contributed to Trusts and Estates Law and Tax Journal. Her work also involves supervising other members of the Private Client team in relation to the full range of private client work, including probate.
Charlotte was included in the Lawyers Honours List in the Citywealth Leaders List 2015, and is included in the Top 50 Powerwomen in the Citywealth Leaders List Winter 2017/18.
